The world’s most expensive meat pie (not the one pictured, obviously) has gone on sale at the Fence Inn in Burnley, Lancs.

Ingredients include Wagyu fillet of beef from hand-massaged cows, Chinese Matsutake mushrooms, French Bluefoot mushrooms and Winter Black Truffles. The gourmet face-filler also comes with gravy made from vintage 1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild wine and edible gold leaf on the pastry. The price? A wallet-warming £1,000…
